The success of my Sagada itinerary (3pages) has just been slightly derailed by an upcoming Tourism Journalism Seminar in San Carlos. But I'll try my best for it to push through. Grrr. Maybe earlier? Maybe in December? Ooooooh. December! (fist pump here).
Still though, for anyone interested, especially for Mass Communication (yes, you, SU Masscom student you) and Tourism students, it's going to be this October 6 at the University of San Carlos campus, with speakers from the Gokongwei Group and the Philippine Press Institute, as well as The Freeman Executive Lifestyle Editor Mayen Tan and someone from Mabuhay Magazine.
There's also a heritage and culture tour the next day.
It's a pretty cool concept, combining both fields. Travel writing is heavenly, people. So sign up and learn about it.
