inday's wedding this month

Date: Tentative April 18 (Saturday) or April 25, 2009 (Saturday)
Dress: Grecian, white
Venue: Plan A Dock, Plan B Jef’s family beach house
Time: 5:00pm for sunset wedding
Colors: Gold, white and sugar colors (plum, etc) for accents
Flowers: Vanda, birds of paradise, orange flowers
Centerpiece: Alternate between flowers and French bread; and votive candles and driftwood
Program: c/o Brilliant Bums
Photographer: c/o Indian friend; need DSLR
Makeup and hair: c/o Angel
Jewelry: Gold earrings and bangles
Dinner: c/o Inday’s family, appetizers: bread baskets which are part of centerpiece
Expected number of guests: 40 pax, maximum of 50
Music: Acoustic throughout the wedding with touch of Bohemian/Bossa Nova c/o cousins; need song for walk down the aisle and first dance
Personal vows: in French (for Jef) and English (for Nikolai)
Tables: One long table for close family and friends, and four tables surrounding it
Arch/Pillar: bamboo with Japanese paper, candles and flowers

Bums to-do list:
1. Choose and pick flowers to bring to Sindangan. There are no flowers there.
2. Design and make paper lanterns.
3. Design and make pillars.
4. Buy alphagena (sakto ba spelling?) for chairs and tables.
5. Buy chains (for pillars), glass bowls, paper for lanterns, Japanese paper, flower foam and other needed office supplies.
6. We are also in charge of over-all decoration, program, giveaways, dress, makeup, songs, toast, cake fondue (Angel) and wedding photography.

Inday to-do list:
1. Find 15-20 pieces of bamboo, different sizes.
2. Prepare bulbs for lanterns from the house.
3. Set up sound system and overhead lights.
4. Arrange for guitar players during ceremony.
5. Find judge.
6. Finalize guest list.
7. Finalize music list.
8. Prepare alcohol.
9. Buy French Bread in Dipolog.
10. Arrange for 6 tables (and white tablecloths) and chairs for both reception and ceremony.
11. Send pictures of beach house and finalize venue.
