Christmas vacation at my hometown yields some interesting discoveries.
*heard that someone held up the Jollibee near the bus terminal after Holy Week. could've been a big haul if only in his haste, the robber didn't leave his cellphone behind, with pictures he took of himself with the camera phone. stoooopid.
*coffeeshops are sprouting EVERYWHERE in Naga. as well as posers from the twenty-something crowd. cringe. cringe.
*high school bonds are hard to break. no more shouts of glee after months of not seeing each other. we go straight to "bwisit ka, tigparapagal mo lang ako padigdi"... or some such thing.
*families are subjective. spending family time is also arbitrary. i'm just doing whatever i can to make the most out of things, which is cool, if i may say so myself. but still... damn, holidays are hard.
*lies multiply and settle on my father's blanket as i sleep in his room. sometimes i forget i'm lying.
*phone calls can never substitute an actual hug.
*being home sucks, big time. now here comes the guilt.
happy holidays everyone.
