The past weekend was a whirlwind. Tiring but fun. An entire day and a half spent in the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, meeting local and Manila media. Some have been journalists for more than 20 years, with P200,000 worth of camera equipment, writing for both national dailies and local papers, while working in PR offices for corporations.

When people end up waiting for the plane to leave or the program to start together at 6am, they usually end up talking about the current events (like the Ms Earth at the Clark Expo) and the surrounding areas (the Duty Free shops, the famed Fields Avenue reminiscent of Olongapo's red light district, the bird migration area in Pampanga), among others. It was interesting, and I had fun talking to them.

Anyway, Clark is now Cebu Pacific's newest hub. It's traveling to four international destinations, as well as a direct flight to Cebu. --if anyone's interested in going to Baguio from Cebu, this is the best route to take as it's only 3 hours to Baguio. Clark itself only has casinos and golf to entice tourists, but it's 45 minutes from Subic's Zoobic and the water park there.

Clark itself was beautiful, with breathtaking wide, blue skies. I can already imagine how the Hot Air Balloon Festival looks like every February in Clark.
